Pet Policy and Registered Service Dogs/ Assistance animals
Mandurah Quay Resort welcomes friendly, social dogs. All pet stays require management approval. Cats are not permitted.
Fees, Bond and Pet Waiver
- Pet fee: $25 per night, per dog, capped at $100 per week, per dog.
- Pet bond: $200 per dog is required at or before check‑in.
- Pet waiver: All pet stays require a signed pet waiver at or before check‑in.
- Exemption: The pet fee, pet bond and pet waiver do not apply to verified registered service dogs or assistance animals.
- Refund timing and deductions: The bond is refunded after check‑out once the villa has been inspected; any damage or additional cleaning costs will be deducted. Cash bond refunds can be processed immediately; card or bank refunds may take longer to appear in your account.
- Damage beyond bond: If damage or cleaning costs exceed the bond, additional charges will be applied to the guest.
General Policies
- Leash and supervision: Dogs must be leashed or always crated when outside your villa. Owners must always supervise their dog.
- Relieving pets: You must walk your pet to relieve it away from public resort areas. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pet and must dispose of any refuse left by their pet.
- Restricted areas: Dogs are not permitted in the pool, spa, or gym.
- Off‑leash area: A fenced, grassed area is available for off‑leash play when safe; owners must leash their dog immediately if requested by staff or other guests.
- In‑villa rules: Dogs must stay out of bedrooms and off all furniture inside the villa. Owners must ensure bedding and soft furnishings remain dog‑hair free.
- When staff enter: If staff need to enter your villa while your dog is present, the dog must be secured by a leash, in a crate, carrier, or pen. Staff will not enter if a dog is loose.
- Health and vaccinations: Dogs must be healthy and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control. Owners may be asked to provide proof of vaccinations.
- Behaviour: Aggressive behaviour, excessive barking, or other nuisance actions will not be tolerated. Management may require removal of any dog that poses a risk to guests or staff.
- Multiple or large dogs: Large breeds or multiple dogs require prior approval from management.
- Cleanliness: Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs and maintaining the villa’s cleanliness during their stay.
