TERMS & CONDITIONS

By booking accommodation at Mandurah Quay Resort, guests agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. These policies ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable stay for all guests.

1. Arrival and Departure

Checkin is from 2:00 pm.
Checkout is by 10:00 am.
Afterhours arrivals (after 4:00 pm) must be arranged in advance.
Early arrivals are subject to availability.
Late departures are subject to availability and may incur fees.

2. Payment

Full payment for the entire stay is required at checkin.
Accepted payment methods: Direct Bank Transfer, Visa, Mastercard, and Cash.
A valid credit or debit card must be provided with signed authority to debit charges for additional cleaning, damages, breakages, late departures, or unpaid balances.

Credit card details are securely stored in RMS Cloud and deleted once all charges are finalised.

3. Bond

A minimum $200 preauthorisation or cash bond is required per Villa.
Management reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to request a higher bond (up to $1,000) for longer stays or where deemed necessary.

4. Credit Card Privacy & Security (RMS Cloud)

Mandurah Quay Resort uses RMS Cloud, a PCIDSS Level 1 compliant system that provides tokenised card storage, encrypted transmission, restricted staff access, and automatic deletion of card data once all charges are finalised.

5. Booking Conditions

Guests must be 18 years or older to make a booking.
Photo ID is required at checkin.
An adult must stay onsite for bookings involving minors.
Bookings cannot be made on behalf of minors.

6. Minimum Stay Requirements

Minimum stay requirements may apply during peak periods, long weekends, public holidays, special events, or promotional offers. These will be communicated at the time of booking.

7. Booking Cancellations

Free cancellation is available with at least 48 hours’ notice.
Less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the first night’s accommodation being charged.

8. Changes to Bookings

Fees may apply for changes including Villa type, length of stay, or bedding configuration.

9. Damages and Breakages

All damages must be reported immediately.
Guests are responsible for the full cost of repairs or replacements.
Unreported damages will be charged to the guest’s card or bond.

10. Cleanliness & Excess Cleaning

Villas must be left in a reasonably tidy condition.
Excess cleaning fees may apply for excessive rubbish, dirty dishes, stained linen, strong odours, or misuse of facilities.

11. Noise

Guests must respect the comfort and wellbeing of others at all times.
Quiet hours apply after 10:00 pm.
Excessive noise or disturbances may result in charges or eviction.

12. General Behaviour

Guests must follow staff instructions at all times.
Behaviour must not disturb or inconvenience others.
Aggressive, unsafe, or disorderly conduct may result in eviction without refund.

13. Alcohol &Glass Policy

Responsible alcohol consumption is required.
Excessive drinking or disturbances may result in eviction.
Glass containers are not permitted in the pool or spa areas.

14. Drug & Illegal Substances Policy

The possession, use, or distribution of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited.
Breaches may result in eviction, police involvement, and forfeiture of payments.

15. Swipe Access Cards

Swipe cards must be returned at departure.
A $25 fee applies for each lost or unreturned access card.
An afterhours return box is available outside reception.

16. Linen

All Villas include linen, towels, pillows, and extra blankets.

17. Marina

Short-term berths are subject to availability.
Use is at guests’ own risk.
Management accepts no responsibility for boat security.

18. Number of Guests

2bedroom Villa/Apartment: 4 guests
3bedroom Villa: 6 guests
One additional guest under 16 may use a foldout bed for a $25 oneoff fee.
Bedding configuration changes: $25 per bedroom.
Children under 2 using existing bedding stay free.

19. Pets (Dogs)

Dogs are accepted at management’s discretion.
Cats are not permitted.
Pet fee: $25 per night per dog, capped at $100 per week per dog.
A $200 pet bond applies.
A signed pet waiver is required.
Management may refuse pets at their sole discretion.

20. Smoking/Vaping

Smoking and vaping are permitted only in:

  1. Near the large blue skip bin
  2. The timber deck behind Villa 21

Strictly prohibited elsewhere. Cleaning fees apply for breaches.

21. Villa/Apartment Contents

All Villas include kitchen appliances, crockery, cutlery, and a smart TV.
Items must not be moved between Villas.
Charges apply for lost, broken, or stolen items.

22. Resort Facilities

Guests use all facilities at their own risk.
Children must be supervised.
Posted rules must be followed.

23. BBQ Safety

Guests must follow posted instructions when using BBQ facilities.
Misuse may result in charges or eviction.

24. WiFi Usage

WiFi is provided for guest convenience.
Illegal or abusive use is prohibited.
Management is not responsible for outages or data loss.

25. Drone Policy

Drone use is not permitted without written approval to protect guest privacy and safety.

26. CCTV

CCTV operates throughout the resort for safety and security.
Footage may be used for incident investigation.

27. Lost Property

Lost property is held for 30 days.
Postage costs are the guest’s responsibility.

28. Maintenance & Access

Management may access Villas for urgent maintenance, safety, or compliance.
Notice will be provided where possible.

29. Fire Safety

Tampering with smoke detectors or fire equipment is prohibited.
Open flames and candles are not permitted.
Emergency instructions must be followed.

30. Parking

The car park contains natural tree coverage.
Falling gum nuts, leaves, sap, and branches may occur.
Guests park at their own risk.
Management is not liable for damage from natural debris, weather, or other vehicles.

31. Prohibited Activities

Parties or events without approval
Commercial photography or filming without permission
Illegal activities
Hazardous materials

32. School Leavers Policy

Bookings are not accepted where all guests are under 18.
“Schoolies” bookings are not accepted.
If discovered, the booking will be cancelled and fees may apply.

33. Right to Refuse or Revoke Bookings

Management reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to refuse or revoke bookings if:

  1. False or inaccurate details are provided
  2. An adult attempts to book on behalf of minors without staying onsite
  3. For any other reason management deems necessary to protect the safety, comfort, or operation of the resort

34. Force Majeure

Mandurah Quay Resort is not liable for failure to provide accommodation or services due to events beyond its control.

Liquor Licence

Under the Liquor Control Act 1988, it is an offence: to sell or supply liquor to a person under the age of 18 years on a licensed or regulated premises; or for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase, or attempt to purchase, liquor on a licensed or regulated premises.
